Sometimes you see something that you have to buy just to reward someone for their creativity in having designed it. The Noteboard struck me as that kind of product. I saw an immediate use for this in being able to easily add a portable whiteboard to my kayak teaching kit. How cool will it be to be able to whip out a collapsible whiteboard on a stream bank and diagram lines, describe river features or have an impromptu navigation session? I’ll just have to find out. I just ordered one.
It's all about water
Larry Ausley is an ACA certified whitewater kayaking instructor trainer, whitewater (L4) and coastal kayaking, river safety and rescue (L3) and canoe (L1) instructor. He is the 2012-2013 Chair of ACA's River Kayak Committee, is a past member of the national Board of Directors and past-Secretary of the American Canoe Association. He is an affiliate instructor for Canoe, Kayak and Paddle Co. (an ACA Pro School) in Vienna, VA, teaching from the Research Triangle area of NC. He is a past-president of the Carolina Canoe Club. Larry is a retired State of North Carolina water quality biologist with a degree in Marine Biology, is a Certified Public Manager and is broadly published on water quality monitoring and aquatic toxicology.
